Jaci's Belly Buldge after 16 Weeks - Oct. 28th

After visiting the doctor for the 16 week checkup, we took a couple of pictures of Jaci's belly to see if there was any sign of a baby buldge (at this point, Jaci is really wanting people to see her and ask her if she is pregnant). This situation is really tough on the male in the relationship, we spend are lives telling our wives that they don't look fat in any way, however now I am supposed to tell Jaci when I notice small changes in her belly size (seems like a trick)....... I'm sure that wanting to look pregnant will not last for long....

Halloween Preparations

Since our new house was a large front porch, Jaci and her mom did a lot of decorating in preparation for Halloween. Unfortunately, Jaci's "Monster Man" was a bit too scary and some trick or treators were too afraid to come to the door. The picture below shows my father in-law chilling out with the "Monster Man".

Finally Finding Our Dream Home - Sept. 30th

After looking at over 30 homes over 3 weeks with 2 different realtors (had to fire the 1st one), Jaci and I finally found our dream home in New Market. With 2153 square feet and 3/4's of an acre, there is more than enough house for our family to grow into (we closed on the house on September 30th).

1st Ultrasound Pictures of Baby - Sept. 2nd

On Monday, September 2nd, Jaci and I had our first baby appointment, which confirmed the pregnancy and gave us our first glimpse of the future monster (combination of Tim and Jaci means short, hairy, ornery and very stubborn). The baby had a heartbeat of 160 beats per minute and was just over 2 centimeters long (that's less than an inch for mathematically challenged folks).

Finding Out - Aug. 9th

After not feeling very good for a couple of days, Jaci wanted to take a pregnancy test (a couple of weeks earlier, Jaci wasn't feeling very good for a few days so we bought a store pregnancy test that was negative, so Jaci was not getting overly excited about the potential of another test). After picking up the home pregnancy test, I carried in the remainder of the groceries and didn't think too much more about it.....

In the mean time, I was on the computer checking the Dodgers score, when Jaci walked into the office and without saying anything, stuck something out at me. It took me a minute to realize what it was and another moment to realize what it was displaying. Jaci shrieked, cried and jumped for joy all at once, as she was trying to hug me. We were both overcome with excitement of knowing that Jaci was pregnant.... I was very proud of my boys, they had done their job on the "Baby Making" cruise......
